Butchers stall - Mr Scott Oakley
Twice a week Mr Scott Oakley comes to Barnet from his organic farm in Devon. He offers a range of delicious products including beef and lamb cuts, bacon and sausages, eggs and butter and homemade cakes. Have a taste of his sizzling hot sausages before you buy. Incidentally, Scott was born in Barnet and has relations who work the Lower Kitts End Farm. He intends to bring some of his sheep to the farm sometime soon. Bread and olives - Alfred Bahram
Alfred Bahram’s family bakery has a wonderful range of handmade organic loaves, some of which are gluten free or wheat free. Also on offer are handmade vine leaves and a range of olives and tomatoes from Cyprus, Greece and Italy.



Jewellary - Maureen
If you are looking for a piece of jewellery at a reasonable price, Maureen’s collections should interest you. She has a range of silver jewellery and a range of costume jewellery. Maureen also sells leather purses and makeup.



Watches, glasses and guitars - Mr Walmsley
Are you in need of a new watch, a guitar or a pair of reading glasses? If so Mr Walmsley may have what you want.



Fruit and veg - Dave Taylor and Son
Dave’s greengrocery stall always attracts a big crowd which often forms into a queue, evidence that the quality and value of the produce is well worth a short wait.

Andy Gardiner has been a trader at Barnet Market for 25 years. He is one of three fruit and veg traders at the market offering a wide range of good quality, good value produce.



Barnet Flower Company - Cut Flowers and Plants
Opposite Andy’s stall is the flower stall. There is always a lovely display of cut flowers and plants; good value too.



Barnet Pet Stall - Talina Gritton
Talina has been a stall-holder at Barnet Market for two years. She can supply anything even the most pampered pet might require.



R & H Fisheries - Rita and Alan Hammersley
This well-known and excellent fish stall has been at Barnet Market for 40 years! If you want a kipper for your tea go to the market early as trade is brisk.



The Electrical Stall - Tony
Tony has run this stall for the last 10 years. If you require light bulbs or batteries, switches or door-bells, you will find them and much more on his stall.

Steve’s fruit and veg stall has operated in Barnet Market for 25 years, offering excellent quality produce at keen prices.



Haberdashery and Fresh Eggs - John and Katie Brown
This stall has been run for the last six years by John and his daughter Katie. Here you will find a comprehensive range of haberdashery – pins, needles, elastic, cotton thread, ribbons, scissors, etc, etc. Where else in Barnet can these essentials be purchased, especially along with a carton of free-range eggs?



Handmade Jewellery and Embroidery - Mabeela
Mabeela began in the market selling her own handmade jewellery and embroidery, the proceeds of which she used to help needy students. More recently she has expanded her stock to include handmade cushions, knitted children’s clothes, bags, stationery, cards and party balloons.



Puzzles Galore - Jeff
A puzzling name for a stall that is stocked almost exclusively with a host of domestic cleaning products! Jeff has been at the market for 19 years; things must have changed over the years.
